Abstract

La presente investigación titulada: La fotografía como representación de la realidad social: estudio del fondo fotográfico de Pulso diario de San Luis, se enfoca el estudio de la fotografía de prensa, partiendo de la relevancia que ésta tiene para el lector, al reflejar a través de imágenes, el acontecer de la sociedad actual y con ello entender el actuar de las personas en su rol individual y colectivo. Pulso, Diario independiente fundado en el año de 1988 como medio informativo para la sociedad potosina, ha integrado desde sus orígenes el uso de la fotografía como elemento que permite registrar e ilustrar el acontecer del contexto local, nacional e internacional con una visión clara y objetiva de los hechos, de ahí la importancia de estudiar el uso de la fotografía en sus ediciones y destacar la imperante necesidad de gestionar y preservar su fondo fotográfico...
