Abstract
Cecilia Böhl de Faber y Francisca Ruiz de Larrea participan en la edición del cuento La madre o El combate de Trafagar publicado en la revista ilustrada El Artista, de gran trascendencia en la defensa del Romanticismo. El relato fue escrito por la primera y enviado a la revista por la segunda, una vez que lo tradujo del francés modificando en parte el mismo. A partir de este hecho aparece Cecilia como la única escritora que publicó en la revista romántica defendiendo a su vez principios estéticos que veremos posteriormente en su obra.
Cecilia Böhl de Faber and Francisca Ruiz de Larrea take part in the publication of the story La madre o El combate de Trafagar published in the illustrated magazine El Artista, of great transcendency in the defense of the Romanticism. The story was written by the first one and sent to the magazine by the second one, as soon as she translated it from french, modifying it partly. From this fact Cecilia appears as the only writer that published in the romantic magazine defending aesthetic principles that we will see later in his work.
