Abstract
La complejidad de la etiología de la reabsorción radicular externa (ERR) debido a los múltiples factores que se derivan de los tratamientos ortodónticos, hace que esta patología siga siendo de interés en la investigación. Con esta investigación, se determinará si las percepciones diferenciales de un diagnóstico de ERR, son una fuente potencial de error en la determinación de este tipo de lesiones en dientes vitales comparándolas con dientes endodonciados. Objetivo: El objetivo principal es analizar los factores clínicos y radiográficos asociados a la reabsorción radicular externa (ERR) en dientes vitales y endodonciados después del tratamiento ortodóntico. Este estudio comprende dos fases principales: Fase 1. Validación in vitro del método de diagnóstico: Determinar la sensibilidad y especificidad de varios métodos radiográficos diagnósticos de la ERR.
