dc.description.abstractBONE MARROW TRANSPLANTATION (BMT) is the elective therapy for severe combined immune deficiencies (SCID). In utero transplant (IUT) of CD341 cells from paternal bone marrow (BM) has recently allowed immunologic reconstitution in two fetuses affected with SCID without natural killer (NK) cells.1,2 We report here the first IUT of haploidentical, paternal BM–derived hematopoietic progenitor cells in a male fetus with T2B1NK1 SCID.
