Abstract
Los entes educativos deben ser centros abiertos a la comunidad como promotores de la cultura y agencia de socialización del aprendizaje. La educación figura como un derecho universal de las personas que tiene como principios la obligatoriedad y gratuidad, al menos en lo concerniente a la instrucción elemental y fundamental. En concreto, la educación para jóvenes y adultos (EPJA) es una oportunidad que favorece a la población que por circunstancias ajenas a cumplir los regímenes académicos ordinarios vinculados a aspectos personales, económicos o sociales no terminaron la formación media durante el proceso de formación tradicional. Bajo este contexto, los estudios inconclusos son temas de debate en la sociedad global, al ser un eje no profundizado y entramado desde los factores que derivan las decisiones de abandono y las políticas públicas aplicadas. Sin embargo, con el paso del tiempo se destaca la importancia de la formación sistémica del ser humano mediante la integración de programas que impulsan el desarrollo personal con miras a mejorar la calidad de vida a través del conocimiento. En el caso de Ecuador, se dispone de un programa educativo en formato regular de educación desde los 15 años en adelante para la culminación de estudios. En este orden de ideas, la inserción escolar de jóvenes y adultos fomenta la instrucción y el alcanzar metas personales, profesionales, familiares de quienes abandonan la escolaridad...
Educational bodies must be centers open to the community as promoters of culture and as an agency for the socialization of learning. Education is a universal human right. Its principles are that it is compulsory and free of charge, at least as far as elementary and basic education is concerned. Specifically, education for young people and adults (EPJA) is an opportunity that favors the population that, due to circumstances beyond the ordinary academic regimes linked to personal, economic or social aspects, did not complete secondary education during the traditional education process.In this context, unfinished studies are the subject of debate in the global society, as they are a topic that has not been studied in depth and is interlace from the factors that derive from the decisions of abandonment and the public policies applied. However, with the passage of time, the importance of the systemic formation of the human being is highlighted through the integration of programs that promote personal development with a view to improving the quality of life through knowledge. In the case of Ecuador, there is an educational program in regular education format from the age of 15 onwards for the completion of studies. In this sense, the schooling of young people and adults promotes education and the achievement of personal, professional and family goals for those who drop out of school...
