Pixelar, ¿sí o no? Un análisis sobre la exposición en televisión de los presuntos criminales

Abstract

Este Trabado de Fin de Grado se centra en analizar el tratamiento de la imagen del delincuente en televisión y el motivo del pixelado de su rostro. Para el análisis se tomarán como objeto de estudio varios casos mediáticos: el asesinato de dos guardias civiles en Barbate (Cádiz), Antonio Tejado como presunto implicado en el robo en casa de su tía, la cantante María del Monte, y ‘Los Petazetaz’, unos influencers investigados por agresión sexual. Todos ellos se han emitido en los informativos y programas de infoentretenimiento de varias cadenas de televisión. En ellos aparecen personas tanto públicas como privadas, por lo que también se exponen los motivos de su diferenciación para el difuminado o no de su imagen. Este estudio de casos está complementado con opiniones y justificaciones de expertos en el campo de la información, alguno de ellos en activo en los medios de comunicación.This Final Degree Project focuses on analyzing the treatment of the image of the criminal on television and the reason for the pixelation of his face. The analysis will be based on several media cases: the murder of two Civil Guards in Barbate (Cádiz), Antonio Tejado as an alleged participant in the robbery of his aunt's house, the singer María del Monte, and 'Los Petazetaz', some influencers under investigation for sexual assault. All of them have been broadcasted in the news and other programmes on several television channels. Both public and private figures appear in them, so that the reasons for their differentiation, for the blurring or not of their image, are also revealed. This case study is complemented by the opinions and justifications of experts in the field of information, some of whom work in the media.
