Abstract
Alfonso Utrilla de la Hoz (Madrid, 1961‐2021), catedrático de Hacienda Pública y profesor durante más de tres décadas en el Departamento de Economía Aplicada, Pública y Política la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, dejó estipulado en sus últimas voluntades el deseo de donar a la Biblioteca Complutense la colección, casi completa, de “Tiempo para la alegría”, una ambicioso proyecto de bibliofilia promovido por Rafael Díaz‐Casariego entre 1963 y 1987, que aunó, en ediciones de lujo ricamente ilustradas, textos clásicos y modernos de la literatura española con grabados originales encargados a los más destacados artistas del momento.
Alfonso Utrilla de la Hoz (Madrid, 1961‐2021), Professor of Public Finance and professor for more than three decades in the Department of Applied, Public and Political Economics of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid, stipulated in his last wills the desire to donate to the Complutense Library the almost complete collection of "Tiempo para la alegría", an ambitious bibliophile project promoted by Rafael Díaz‐Casariego between 1963 and 1987, which he brought together, in deluxe editions richly illustrated, classic and modern texts of Spanish literature with original engravings commissioned to the most outstanding artists of the moment.
