Abstract
Esta tesis se enmarca en el contexto educativo mexicano y aborda la problemática curricular de la Educación Superior. El interés central es el análisis del modelo educativo de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) con el fin de desarrollar un diseño curricular por competencias en la facultad de Psicología. Como marco referencial se incluyen antecedentes sobre la Educación Superior en México y una breve descripción de la BUAP. También se menciona modelos educativos emergentes, así como de los componentes del Modelo Universitario Minerva de la BUAP y el plan de estudios de la licenciatura en Psicología. La metodología de la investigación empleada es mixta con un diseño explicativo secuencial y una muestra de sujetos voluntarios compuesta por 83alumnos y 30 docentes. This thesis is framed in the Mexican educational context and addresses the curricular problems of Higher Education. The foremost interest is the analysis of the educational model of the Distinguished Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP for its initials in Spanish), in order to develop a curricular design by competences in the Faculty of Psychology. As a reference framework, background on Higher Education in Mexico and a brief description of the BUAP are included. Emerging educational models are also mentioned, as well as the components of the Minerva University Model of the BUAP and the curriculum of the degree in psychology. The research methodology used is mixed with a sequential explanatory design and a sample of volunteer subjects composed of 83 students and 30 teachers.
