Imágenes literarias de la ciudad en tránsito: Breton, Lorca y Modiano

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como punto de partida el interés por los intercambios o acompañamientos, que se puede establecer entre la literatura y el ámbito artístico, al abordar el fenómeno urbano. Partimos de la existencia de dos miradas miméticas de la realidad, dos formas de representarla que dan lugar a imágenes (literarias y artísticas),entre las que podemos establecer conexiones. Son numerosos los estudios que en torno a la relación entre literatura y pintura se han llevado a cabo desde aquel “ut pictura poesis”. Sin entrar en el asunto de las posibles analogías que se han establecido entre las mismas, ni en el análisis literario, vamos a concentrarnos en los espacios presentes entres escritores de la ciudad, para detectar cómo funcionan en el texto, y ver de qué manera actúa su transitoriedad en la obra. Después bucearemos en las correspondencias entre las formas de representación de estos espacios intersticiales en la literatura, para ver cómo sustentan la obra artística...

This work has, as its starting point, the special interest in exchanges o raccompaniments, which can be established between literature and the artistic field when it comes to addressing the urban phenomenon. We start from the existence of two mimetic views of reality that give rise to a series of images —literary and artistic—between which we can establish connections. Numerous studies that have been carried out regarding the relationship between literature and painting, as expressed by the phrase “ut pictura poesis”. Without going into the possible analogies that have been established between them, nor delving into the literary analysis, we are going to concentrate on the spaces present in three writers of the city, to detect how the spaces work in the text, and observe the way their transience acts in the work. Then we will delve into the relationships between the forms of representation of these interstitial spaces in literature, to see how they simultaneously support artistic works...
