Abstract
The guarantees of non-repetition are some of the typical and typical measures of International Human Rights Law that has received the least attention so far. In turn, economic, social and cultural rights have been playing a rather moderate role in the management of those periods that follow a situation of serious human rights violations. Being able to prevent the emergence of these contexts, through the guarantee of these rights, seems to be an irremediable step as a result of the demands that are already being claimed in certain latitudes, such as at the time, in the Arab Spring. This paper aims to analyze why strengthening economic, social and cultural rights is essential to avoid replicating situations that may seem to be overcome.
