Abstract
This thesis addresses the issue of violence, with the aim of reflecting on and proposing different actions that could serve as a step towards the much-desired culture of peace in schools and, ultimately, in society. Another important point is teacher training to prevent school violence. We have to deal with situations in which peaceful coexistence is threatened. We have to address ethnic, cultural, and gender diversity, because we believe that all students are at risk. They can be victims of aggression, and students of immigrant origin and women are a “much easier and more desirable target.”
