Abstract
A pesar de la gran literatura existente sobre las intervenciones basadas en mindfulness, hay muy poca investigación centrada en estudiar técnicas o modalidades específicas, ya que la mayoría se centran en protocolos completos. Muchos autores categorizan las diferentes meditaciones que se aplican en estos protocolos de intervención según sean estas focalizadas o de monitorización abierta. Sin embargo, el estudio de las diferentes modalidades de forma aislada no ha sido apenas estudiado. Además, se suelen estudiar únicamente en relación a estímulos internos (es decir, respiración). Conociendo mejor estas interacciones con respecto a modalidades concretas, se podrán diseñar en el futuro programas o intervenciones más adaptadas al perfil de los meditadores. Despite the extensive literature on mindfulness-based interventions, there is very little research focused on studying specific techniques or modalities, as most focus on complete protocols. Many authors categorize the different meditations that are applied in these intervention protocols as either focused or open monitoring. However, the study of different modalities in isolation has hardly been studied. In addition, they are usually studied only in relation to internal stimuli (i.e., breathing). By better understanding these interactions with respect to specific modalities, programs or interventions more adapted to the profile of meditators can be designed in the future. This thesis is situated within an academic thesis with implications for the (re)design of protocols and personalized adjustments in practice...
