Abstract
This thesis aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the works of three contemporary authors from different literary traditions, yet linked through a common approach: magical realism. The research is organized into six main chapters, which systematically address both the theoretical and contextual aspects, as well as the common literary and narrative characteristics shared by the three authors. The first chapter provides a brief but necessary review of the importance of the so-called “boom” in Latin American literature and magical realism, as well as the internationalization of the term..
