Abstract
RESUMEN:
En este trabajo presentamos el primer testimonio conocido de una traducción castellana autónoma de las «Metamorfosis» de Ovidio en lengua romance (siglo XV). Ofrecemos en lo que sigue un estado de la cuestión con la recepción de la obra en la Península y una aproximación lingüística y textual al códice que se centra en ofrecer algunos de los rasgos más significativos de la lengua en que se copió y el modelo que puede subyacer en él.
ABSTRACT: In this paper we present the first known testimony of an autonomous Castilian translation of Ovid’s «Metamorphoses» in the Romance language (15th century). In what follows we offer a state of the question, with the reception of the work in the Peninsula, and a linguistic and textual approach to the codex that focuses on offering some of the most significant features of the language in which it was copied and the model that may underlie it.
