Abstract
ZUSAMMENFASSUNG: Eine sehr alte lateinische Inschrift (CIL I2 401, 3. Jh. v. Chr.), die in der italianischen Stadt Lucera entdeckt wurde, überliefert uns die Strafandrohung für die Beschädigung eines heiligen Waldes: direkter Vollstreckungsprozeß (manus iniectio) ohne vorheriges Urteil.
ABSTRACT: An old Roman inscription (CIL I2 401, III B.C.) found in the city of Lucera (Italy) protects a sacred wood by stablishing an special kind of legal punishment: direct execution (Manus Iniectio) without previous trial.
