Abstract
This Final Degree Project (TFG) aims to create awareness for the Philosophy for Children methodology and show its possibilities in an ordinary primary classroom as a way of developing children's complex and critical thinking. To achieve that, the Philosophy's social and curricular position is analysed, showing that its minority and minoritized use creates, in new generations, a lack of personal perspective based on their own criteria when knowing and analysing current issues. After this analysis, and using an interdisciplinary workshop in which current issues are worked from the different subjects of Primary Education, the Philosophy for Children (FpN) is gradually incorporated into the classroom through different activities and routines that promote the critical and autonomous thinking. As a result, students progressively acquire reflection, criticism and argumentation skills being able to debate safely despite their young age, about the different current issues and challenges of the 21st century that they will face in their future social life when exercising their citizenship.
