Abstract

La asignatura presenta una panorámica de la idea de justicia partiendo de sus enunciaciones clásicas, pasando por su reformulaciones en la edad moderna y llegando hasta nuestros días. Se presta atención al distinto modo de entender la justicia de cada uno de los enfoques y sus fundamentaciones teóricas: la perspectiva teleológica aristotélica, la contractualista clásica, el cosmopolitismo kantiano, y con mayor detalle, la teoría de la justicia de John Rawls y sus aplicaciones globales y las alternativas cosmopolitas y utilitaristas de alcance global.The subject presents an overview of the idea of justice starting from its classic enunciations, going through its reformulations in the modern age and reaching our days. Attention is paid both to the different ways of understanding justice of each of the approaches and to their theoretical foundations: the Aristotelian teleological perspective, the classical contractualist perspective, the Kantian cosmopolitanism, and in greater detail, John Rawls's theory of justice and its global applications and the cosmopolitan and utilitarian alternatives of global scope.
