Arteterapia y museos en España hoy; el arte como espejo

Abstract

El presente trabajo constituye un acercamiento a la actual presencia y consideración de la arteterapia en los museos de España, teniendo en cuenta la excepcional situación causada por la pandemia de COVID-19. Se ha llevado a cabo una revisión documental en torno a estudios similares desarrollados en otros países, y posteriormente una investigación cualitativa por medio de la realización de entrevistas a personas profesionales de estos ámbitos. Por último, se ha elaborado un análisis temático mediante la categorización de la información obtenida, llegando a la conclusión de que la relación entre arteterapia y museos en España es muy inestable y precaria pese a los beneficios que demuestra tener. Como principal limitación, se ha encontrado la ausencia de literatura y referencias académicas sobre este tema, abriéndose así una puerta hacia investigaciones futuras.This work is an approach to the current presence and consideration of art therapy in the museums of Spain, considering the exceptional situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. A literature review was carried out around similar studies developed in other countries and later a qualitative research was carried out by means of interviews with professionals in these fields. Finally, a thematic analysis was elaborated by means of the categorization of the information obtained, concluding that the relationship between art therapy and museums in Spain is very unstable and precarious despite the benefits that it demonstrates to have. As the main limitation, the absence of literature and academic references on this subject was found, thus opening a door to future research.
