Abstract
The voice is a phenomenon whose interpretation continues to be fundamentally linked to the discursive sphere. This study explores the articulation of the voice in the social context in order to delve into its many meanings in addition to its linguistic signification. The approach is based on a qualitative methodology that builds upon embodied experience as a commitment to feminist research. This materializes in three methodological movements that draw on other techniques to adapt themselves to the needs of sound. The first, the synaesthete tilt, is the self’s predisposition towards listening in relation to other subjectivities, inspired by corporeal itineraries; the second, ‘conversactions’, consist of paying attention to the vibrational action that occurs between bodies resulting from the vocal exercise, using semi-structured interviews as a point of reference; and finally, the interaction atmospheres, which are articulated through participant observation and developed by engaging in spaces dedicated to explore voice. These methodological practices emerge from the categories of materiality, identity, technology and listening, which structure this research project and are configured as spaces of interest in the study of the voice...
