Abstract
La presente tesis doctoral aborda el estudio sobre la utilización de la red social Instagram por un target senior femenino mayor de 40 años en España. La investigación se centra fundamentalmente en las seguidoras y en las creadoras de contenido cuyas cuentas están especializadas en Lifestyle. Para el estudio se utilizan cuestionarios, la observación de la cuenta de la instagramer de éxito @carmen_gimeno, pero además se cuenta con las opiniones de cinco expertos en marketing de influencers, quienes ofrecen su punto de vista sobre la situación actual en España del marketing de influencia. Además, se consultan artículos, libros, tesis, congresos, vídeos, todos ellos relacionados con el tema. El objetivo de la investigación, es conocer los hábitos de uso de esta red social por este perfil sociodemográfico en España. La investigación busca entender los factores que hacen que las creadoras mayores de 40 años obtengan muchos "me gusta" y comentarios. Los resultados muestran que estas creadoras de este grupo de edad triunfan por su capacidad para conectar con la audiencia y su poder de persuasión, basado en su naturalidad inspiración y estética. La comunidad de seguidoras suele estar muy interesada en lo que publican, mostrando un alto nivel de interacción. Se concluye que el fenómeno influencer, lejos de desaparecer, está en aumento y ganando más seguidores en España de distintas edades más maduras, apoyado también por otras redes sociales como TikTok, YouTube y Meta.
This doctoral thesis addresses the study of the use of the social network Instagram by a senior female target group over 40 years of age in Spain. The research focuses mainly on followers and content creators whose accounts are specialized in Lifestyle. The study uses questionnaires, observation of the account of the successful Instagramer @carmen_gimeno, but also includes the opinions of five experts in influencer marketing, who offer their point of view on the current situation of influencer marketing in Spain. In addition, articles, books, theses, conferences, videos, are consulted. all of them related to the topic. The objective of the research is to know the habits of use of this social network by this sociodemographic profile in Spain. The research seeks to understand the factors that cause female creators over 40 to get a lot of likes and comments. The results show that these creators in this age group successful due to their ability to connect with the audience and their power of persuasion, based on their naturalness, inspiration and aesthetics. The community of followers is usually very interested in what they publish, showing a high level of interaction. It is concluded that the influencer phenomenon, far from disappearing, is increasing and gaining more followers in Spain of different, more mature ages, also supported by other social networks such as TikTok, YouTube and Meta.
