Abstract
La mitocrítica se ha constituido sobre una base interdisciplinar gracias a su relación con otras ciencias humanas y sociales. Grandes investigadores franceses han contribuido en esta tarea. A partir de la reflexión sobre el pensamiento simbólico, el inconsciente y el imaginario colectivos, así como de la interacción de las literaturas clásica, moderna y contemporánea, la disciplina ha establecido una metodología capaz de evidenciar el significado de los relatos míticos en función de sus fuentes, evolución y contexto. Ahora bien, los retos de la configuración sociedad actual requieren una serie de adaptaciones de esta metodología.
Myth Criticism has been constituted on an interdisciplinary basis thanks to its relationship with other human and social sciences. Great French researchers have contributed to this task. From the reflection on the symbolic thought, the collective unconscious and the imaginary, as well as from the interaction of the classical, modern and contemporary literatures, the discipline has established a methodology capable of putting a light on the meaning of the mythical stories according to their sources, evolution and context. However, the challenges of today’s society configuration require a series of adaptations of this methodology.
