Abstract
This work is an approach to the analysis of Spain's position in the context of international migration and the impact of this position on its migration policies and discourses over the last two centuries. Additionally, we will try to see how the dynamics of gender and center-periphery find their concretion in the present, with the purpose of contributing to a transversal analysis that allows us to raise the challenges and possibilities emerging from this new political geography and to make visible the struggle axes that are already being raised about the access of migrant subjects to civil, social and political rights, with special attention to domestic and care women-workers.
