Drawing a Mountain

Abstract

This booklet is part of the exhibition Drawing a Mountain by Spanish artist Laura F. Gibellini, a show held at Espositivo, Madrid, in September 2019. It is part of an ongoing project about the making-visible of that which has no stable form: in this case the weather, light, time and the extreme conditions of a particular Mountain, Sulphur, in Banff, Canada. For the booklet the artist asked several people to reflect on mountains, art, time and the weather. Contributors include Luis Ortega, Antonia Santolaya, Alfredo Puente, Oriol Fontdevila, Elena Rosauro, Irene Cantero, Lola Martínez and Dioni Serrano. Design by Diego Calvo. Included with each copy is a special edition Risograph print of an original drawing by Gibellini, available on bright yellow or bright pink paper.Un proyecto de dibujo expandido de Laura F.
