Esta es una investigación cualitativa que tiene como objeto de estudio dos proyectos de educación musical de la Fundación Pública Andaluza Barenboim-Said que se llevan a cabo en Andalucía y en Palestina. La Fundación Barenboim-Said es una fundación dedicada a promover el espíritu de paz, el diálogo y la reconciliación a través de la música y la educación musical con un concepto humanista de la educación partiendo de la idea de educar a través de la música. El origen de la Fundación Barenboim-Said se remonta al establecimiento en 2004 de la sede de la Orquesta West-Eastern Divan (WEDO) en Sevilla. La WEDO fue creada en 1999 por el director de orquesta Daniel Barenboim y el crítico literario Edward Said en Weimar, Alemania, una orquesta formada por jóvenes músicos israelíes y de países árabes. La Orquesta West-Eastern Divan fue un primer proyecto de la fundación que dio origen a otros proyectos de educación musical en Andalucía y en Palestina. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo conocer cuál es el impacto del trabajo que realiza la Fundación Barenboim-Said con el proyecto de Educación Musical Infantil (EMI) en Andalucía y con el proyecto de Educación Musical en Palestina, y su aportación al desarrollo humano y la inclusión social...
The purpose of this qualitative research is to study two music education projects of the Barenboim-Said Andalusian Public Foundation, a foundation dedicated to promoting the spirit of peace, dialogue and reconciliation through music and music education with a humanistic concept of education and the idea of educating through music. The origin of the Barenboim-Said Foundation goes back to the establishment in Seville of the headquarters of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra (WEDO) in 2004, created by conductor Daniel Barenboim and literary critic Edward Said in 1999 in Weimar, Germany, and formed by young Israeli and Arab musicians. WEDO was a first project of the Foundation that gave rise to other music education projects in Andalusia and Palestine. The research is carried out to understand the impact of the Foundation's work with the Early Childhood Music Education (EMI) project, a project integrated into the larger Music Education in Andalusia project, and with the Music Education in Palestine project, and its contribution to human development and social inclusion...
