Abstract

More than two decades ago, the development of New Technologies (NT) and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), also understood as a means of dissemination and popularization of archaeology, introduced virtual restitutions in the visit to archaeological sites, making it easier for visitors to interpret the excavated spaces. Th ese images are a scientifi c document and constitute an essential tool for archaeological interpretation, which at the same time are also used to help the general public to understand the recreated remains.
