Abstract
La diversidad cultural nos ha acompañado siempre, ninguna sociedad ha sido nunca homogénea, y las organizaciones de cualquier tipo, al ser un reflejo de ésta, tampoco. Aun así, ahora estamos atendiendo a un cambio a escala global, la globalización en los últimos años ha incidido tanto en las empresas nacionales como multinacionales, y es el segundo grupo en que centraré este trabajo. La habilidad de trabajar en entornos multiculturales es un reto al que se enfrentan las organizaciones del siglo XXI.
Este trabajo fin de grado pretende hacer una revisión de las prácticas tradicionales de gestión de la diversidad cultural y formación intercultural en las empresas multinacionales. Se plantea una propuesta de programa de formación intercultural desde una perspectiva pedagógica e innovadora, basada en las metodologías artísticas o Art Thinking. Además, manera de transversal se desarrollan las competencias de empatía, creatividad, inteligencia emocional, trabajo en equipo y cooperativo, esenciales para el desarrollo de cualquier actividad laboral de calidad orientada al éxito y beneficio a largo plazo, no sólo desde una perspectiva económica sino social.
Cultural diversity has accompanied us always, no society has ever been homogeneous, and neither organizations of any kind, as they are their reflect. Even though, now we are attending a global change, globalization during last years has had an impact on national and international companies, although it is the second type on which I will focus this work. The ability to work in intercultural environments is a challenge that XXI century companies are facing. This final degree work aims to make a review on traditional practices related to cultural diversity management and intercultural training in international companies. With this work I propose an intercultural training program from a pedagogic and innovative perspective, focused on artistic methodologies or Art Thinking. The program will work transversally empathy, creativity, emotional intelligence, teamwork and cooperation competences, essentials to develop any entrepreneurial activity orientated to long-term success and benefit, not only regarding an economic perspective but also social.
