Abstract
En los últimos años los estudios sobre la inteligencia emocional se han visto en auge, evidenciado la influencia que ejercen las emociones en la vida de las personas, así, como en los pensamientos, actitudes, y en el transcurrir de la identidad. In recent years studies on emotional intelligence have been booming, evidencing the influence that emotions exert on people's lives, as well as on thoughts, attitudes, and the passage of identity. Despite this recent advance, and its connection with several behavioral factors being demonstrated, its link with gender studies is very recent and still scarce, this study aims to specifically explore the relationships between emotional intelligence and sexist stereotypes, in the adolescente population, the period of time when, gender violence is more common, proposing its development as an effective tool in the prevention of inequality and violence against women. Analyzing the relationship between emotions and gender stereotypes, exposes that gender socialization, differential education and learning to be and behave as a woman or as a man, is directly cohesive with the way in which each person detects, understands and regulates feelings, definitely, with the process of differential emotional socialization received...
