Didáctica y difusión del patrimonio histórico y arqueológico

Abstract

La Historia tiene un importante valor educativo y formativo. Sin embargo, en ocasiones se percibe por el alumnado como una materia de contenidos muy teóricos, dando como resulta un estudio y aprendizaje memorístico que se olvida o se desecha casi inmediatamente después de haber sido adquirido. La Arqueología, a través de los talleres y materiales didácticos que aquí presentamos, diseñados, dirigidos y adaptados a los diferentes niveles educativos según los diseños curriculares y que abarcan desde la Prehistoria hasta la Edad Contemporánea, rompe ese tabú y se convierte en un recurso fundamental para la clase de Historia, al acercar a los alumnos al pasado, a su legado cultural y a su Patrimonio, de una forma más dinámica, “real”, práctica y cercana, al entrar en contacto con la vida cotidiana y cultura material de personas que vivieron hace cientos o miles de años. En nuestros talleres didácticos los alumnos sienten y viven la Historia, su Historia. Aprenden trabajando, aprenden jugando, aprenden practicando.

History has an important educational and formative value. However, sometimes it is perceived by students as a subject of very theoretical content, resulting in a study and rote learning that is forgotten or discarded almost immediately ater being acquired. Archeology, through the workshops and didactic materials that we present here, designed, directed and adapted to the diferent educational levels according to the curricular designs and that range from Prehistory to the Contemporary Age, breaks this taboo and becomes a fundamental resource for the history class, by bringing the students to the past, to their cultural legacy and to their Heritage, in a more dynamic, “real”, practical and close way, by coming into contact with the daily life and material culture of people who hey lived hundreds or thousands of years ago. In our didactic workshops students feel and live History, their History. hey learn by working, they learn by playing, they learn by practicing.
