Abstract
RESUMEN: El presente trabajo investiga el uso de ChatGPT en la enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera, enfocándose en su potencial para enriquecer procesos cognitivos y creativos a través de la competencia metafórica. Dado el análisis de las limitaciones de ChatGPT en el procesamiento de metáforas, se examina cómo estos fallos pueden ser aprovechados didácticamente. La investigación se estructura en tres acciones principales: un sondeo para evaluar la predisposición del profesorado hacia la integración de ChatGPT en el aula, una experiencia didáctica que explora la aplicación práctica de ChatGPT con estudiantes, y una propuesta didáctica original que combina recursos y actividades innovadoras. Este enfoque pionero busca no solo mejorar el aprendizaje de las lenguas extranjeras, sino también servirse de los beneficios ofrecidos por los avances tecnológicos para fomentar la creatividad y el pensamiento crítico entre el alumnado.
ABSTRACT: The present work examines the use of ChatGPT in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language, focusing on its potential to enrich cognitive and creative processes through metaphorical competence. Given the analysis of ChatGPT's limitations in metaphor processing, it is examined how these shortcomings can be exploited didactically. The research is structured in three main actions: a survey to assess teachers' predisposition towards the integration of ChatGPT in the classroom, a didactic experience that explores the practical application of ChatGPT with students, and an original didactic proposal that combines innovative resources and activities. This pioneering approach aims not only to improve foreign language learning, but also to use the benefits offered by technological advances to foster creativity and critical thinking among students.
