Abstract
El objetivo principal de este trabajo final de máster es diseñar y desarrollar un prototipo funcional de un espejo inteligente a partir de los conocimientos y competencias adquiridas en el máster de internet de las cosas. Este proyecto será capaz de mostrar información ambiental y reaccionar a la presencia y el movimiento del usuario.
Este proyecto investiga cómo integrar dispositivos IoT en el hogar para mejorar la interacción del usuario en tareas cotidianas. Se desarrolló un espejo inteligente, el cual es una pantalla integrada en un espejo convencional capaz de mostrar información y responder a ciertas acciones. El prototipo combina sensores de presencia, gestos, temperatura, humedad y una cámara para reconocimiento facial. El sistema se adapta al entorno y responde al usuario mostrando información útil, como el clima o el calendario, También permite controlar funciones como la música utilizando gestos.
The main objective of this master's final project is to design and develop a functional prototype of a smart mirror based on what we have learned in the IoT master's program. This project will be capable of displaying environmental information and reacting to the presence and movement of the user. This project explores how to integrate IoT devices into the home to enhance user interaction in everyday tasks. A smart mirror was developed, which is a screen integrated into a conventional mirror capable of displaying information and responding to certain actions. The prototype combines presence, gesture, temperature, humidity sensors, and a camera for facial recognition. The system adapts to its environment and responds to the user by displaying useful information such as the weather or calendar, and allows control of functions like music through gestures
