Abstract

La inteligencia artificial (IA) tiene un impacto significativo en el periodismo, brindando nuevas oportunidades y desafíos. En este estudio se analiza el caso de NewsGPT (https://newsgpt.ai/), considerado el primer canal de noticias del mundo generado íntegramente por sistemas de IA. El objetivo principal de este artículo de investigación es averiguar cómo la IA está cambiando las prácticas periodísticas, desde la recopilación de información hasta la redacción y la posterior distribución del contenido, a través de un análisis que describe detalladamente las características y las funciones del canal de noticias, al tiempo que evalúa el uso y la eficacia de la tecnología de IA en el contexto del periodismo.Artificial Intelligence (AI) is having a significant impact on journalism, bringing new opportunities and challenges. This study analyses the case of NewsGPT (https://newsgpt.ai/), considered the world's first news channel entirely generated by AI systems. The main objective of this research article is to find out how AI is changing journalistic practices, from information gathering to writing and subsequent distribution of content, through an analysis that describes in detail the characteristics and functions of the news channel, while assessing the use and effectiveness of AI technology in the context of journalism.
