Abstract
The pages of this Master's Thesis include an experimental approach research that was developed during the Practicum of the Master in two groups of students from ESO's second course. This research is the result of two axes's crossing: the literary topics's teaching and the motivation of Learning Landscapes's emerging methodology. This study emerges, mainly, from the detection of different learning problems during our observation in the classroom: the distraction and lack of interest that students experience due to the classes's approach or the lack of perception of need of Language and Literature's subject in people's lives. In addition, in general, high school's students have serious difficulties in studying literary topics because, in spite of being one of human nature's key points, they do not identify with them and they do not think it has a factual meaning for their daily reality. The main objective of this Master's Thesis is to explore and analyse the way in which Learning Landscapes's emerging methodology influences the motivation of students through the study of literary topics in ESO's second course. To achieve this proposal, firstly, we explain and we justify research's origin and importance, the theoretical key points that have inspired it and its objectives. Later, we describe the context in which it was carried out, as well as its design and development in the classroom. Finally, we present and interpret the results obtained from multiple instruments, which allow us to demonstrate the potential of Learning Landscapes to improve teaching practice and construction of literary topics's learning.
