Abstract
La Inteligencia Artificial (IA), ha dejado de ser un concepto futurista, para consolidarse como una herramienta cotidiana, omnipresente en el ocio, el entorno laboral e incluso el sistema educativo, donde interactuamos con ella, a menudo de forma inadvertida. Este Trabajo de fin de Grado, examina la progresión de los dilemas éticos asociados a la inteligencia artificial, a través de su representación en tres obras cinematográficas icónicas: Metrópolis, 2001: Una odisea del espacio y Blade Runner (1982). Profundizando en cómo las narrativas fílmicas exploran cuestiones capitales como la autonomía de las inteligencias artificiales, la responsabilidad derivada de sus acciones, la compleja definición de humanidad en contraste con la máquina, y el impacto social de la coexistencia con seres sintéticos. El núcleo del análisis reside en la forma en que cada película articula dichos conflictos éticos, sirviendo como espejo no solo de los avances tecnológicos anticipados, sino también de las persistentes inquietudes filosóficas y sociales que suscita el desarrollo de la IA.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has ceased to be a futuristic concept and has become established as an everyday tool, omnipresent in leisure, the workplace, and even the educational system, where we interact with it, often unnoticed. This study examines the progression of ethical dilemmas associated with artificial intelligence through their representation in three iconic films: Metropolis, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Blade Runner (1982). It delves into how these film narratives explore key issues such as the autonomy of artificial intelligences, the responsibility derived from their actions, the complex definition of humanity in contrast to machines, and the social impact of coexistence with synthetic beings. The core of the analysis lies in the way each film articulates these ethical conflicts, serving as a mirror not only of anticipated technological advances but also of the persistent philosophical and social concerns raised by the development of AI.
