Abstract
En la presente tesis doctoral: Jardines Efímeros, propuesta artística e indagaciones psicológicas sobre el papel que juega la vegetación en la ciudad, veremos el funcionamiento del proyecto artístico www.jardines-efimeros.com donde la artista invita al transeúnte a subir a la web las fotografías de esas plantas llamadas “malas hierbas” que aparecen en la ciudad. Toda esta primera parte de la tesis está apoyada con el contexto histórico de cómo la vegetación aparece y desaparece de la ciudad, cómo la sociedad convive con ella y cómo el arte y los artistas lo han plasmado a lo largo de la historia. A través de esta experiencia artística de Jardines Efímeros la artista se plantea la hipótesis de que un proyecto artístico así pueda generar apego emocional y pueda ser generador de Restauración Emocional hacia la naturaleza para las personas que participan en él. Pero además, a partir de ese momento, se planteó la realización del análisis psicológico tutorizado en el área de psicología ambiental1 para analizar el impacto del proyecto. Recopilaremos los datos a través de un cuestionario2 que rellenan los participantes en el proyecto de manera voluntaria en un proceso de ciencia ciudadana. Y a través de preguntas cualitativas de carácter abierto y cuantitativas, analizaremos variables como: Sentimiento y Emociones hacia la Naturaleza, Emociones Sublimes hacia la Naturaleza (ESN), Influencia de la Naturaleza en el Self (INS) y la Restauración Emocional (RE). También abordaremos temas de estudio como: el Significado de la Naturaleza, Significado de Naturaleza Efímera, Gusto por el Paisaje, Impacto del Paisaje y la Influencia del Proyecto. In this doctoral thesis called Ephemeral Gardens, artistic proposal and psychological inquiries on the role played by vegetation in the city, we will see the functioning of the artistic project on http://www.jardines-efimeros.com where the artist invites the passers-by to upload to the web the photographs of those plants called "weeds" that appear in the city. All this first part of the thesis is supported with the historical context of how vegetation appears and disappears from the city, how society coexists with it and how art and artists have captured it throughout history.Through this artistic experience of Ephemeral Gardens, the artist hypothesises that such an artistic project can generate emotional attachment and can be a generator of Emotional Restoration towards nature for those who participate in it. However, from a specific moment on, it was proposed to carry out a psychological analysis tutored in the area of environmental psychology3 to analyse the impact of this project. We will collect the data through a questionnaire4 filled out by the participants in the project on a voluntary basis in the so-called process of citizen science. And through open-ended qualitative and quantitative questions, we will analyse variables such as: Feelings and Emotions towards Nature, Sublime Emotions towards Nature (ESN), Influence of Nature on the Self (INS) and Emotional Restoration (ER). We will also address topics to study such as: the Meaning of Nature, the Meaning of Ephemeral Nature, Landscape Taste, Landscape Impact and Project Influence.
