El cáncer es una de las principales causas de morbilidad y mortalidad en todo el mundo. En 2020, se diagnosticaron aproximadamente 18,1 millones de nuevos casos a nivel global, y se estima que el número de nuevos diagnósticos aumentará a 28 millones anuales para 2040. La investigación en esta patología está en constante crecimiento, lo que ha dado lugar, entre otros avances, a nuevos tratamientos que han cambiado significativamente el pronóstico de muchos tumores. Entre estos, destacan, por su diferente mecanismo de acción, los tratamientos de terapia dirigida y, más recientemente, los de terapia personalizada, los cuales han incrementado la complejidad del manejo de los tratamientos antineoplásicos...
