Abstract
El sistema implementado consiste en una aplicación que realiza una clasificación automática de texturas en imágenes digitales a partir de un entrenamiento previo no supervisado.
El algoritmo elegido para el entrenamiento no supervisado es el conocido como cuantización vectorial.
Para la clasificación de las diferentes texturas se han implementado los tres algoritmos siguientes: Algoritmo de Bayes, Algoritmo de clasificación Fuzzy (borroso) y Algoritmo de Lloyd
Para facilitar su utilización, se ha dotado al sistema de interfaz gráfica de usuario desde la cual se puede elegir la operación a realizar y configurar los parámetros necesarios.
La aplicación ha sido desarrollada en Java utilizando la librería Java Advanced Image bajo la plataforma Eclipse.

The chosen algorithm for the learning phase is the well known unsupervised learning vector quantization.
For classifying the different textures in the images, the following three algorithms have been developed: Bayesian, Fuzzy clustering and Lloyd's.
For an easy use, the system has been equipped with an interface from which the user is able to choose the operation to perform and configure the necessary parameters.
The application has been developed in the Java language, using the Java Advanced Image library, under the Eclipse platform.
