Observación y evaluación de la corporeización en arteterapia: diseño y validación del instrumento EMOBAT

Abstract

Enmarcado dentro un nuevo paradigma que entiende al ser humano como una unidad mente-cuerpo indisociable, el objetivo de esta investigación fue diseñar y validar un instrumento de observación y registro de la corporeización de las/los clientes en arteterapia, que permita realizar una práctica más holística integrando la emoción, la cognición y el cuerpo en el desarrollo de los talleres. El proceso se llevó a cabo en cuatro fases, donde se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura, un grupo focal y observaciones no sistemáticas con dos casos, lo que permitió la construcción de un instrumento inicial que luego fue validado a través del juicio de expertas. La versión final del instrumento se sustentó por medio de la teoría, explicando cada uno de sus ítems y cómo se podrían analizar en la práctica. Debido a las limitaciones de tiempo y de acceso a grandes muestras, el instrumento no fue validado empíricamente, por lo que se propone como una línea futura de investigación.Within the frame of a new paradigm that considers human beings as inseparable mind-body entities, this investigation’s objective was to design and validate an instrument for the observation and recording of the embodiment of the participants in art therapy workshops with the purpose of integrating emotion, cognition, and body in a more holistic practice. The research was carried out in four phases, in the first of which the relevant literature was reviewed, a focal group was set up, and unsystematic observations were made on two cases; a preliminary instrument was next designed and submitted to experts in the field for validation. The final version of the instrument was substantiated theoretically, explaining each item in it and how the instrument could be analyzed in practice. Since time limitations and lack of access to larger samples precluded the empirical validation of the instrument, further research is proposed.
