La aplicación del documental interactivo en el ámbito educativo

Abstract

El objetivo de esta tesis doctoral, es explorar el potencial del documental interactivo como herramienta pedagógica, abarcando no sólo el empleo de documentales interactivos como herramienta didáctica, sino también, el desarrollo de documentales interactivos por parte de los alumnos en el aula. La investigación, analiza el crecimiento del documental interactivo como formato novedoso, así como los cambios que plantea ante el documental tradicional, a nivel de lógicas de producción, distribución y exhibición. Asimismo, explora tendencias educativas como el constructivismo, el conectivismo y la educomunicación, y argumenta en torno a la implementación del documental interactivo en el aula, en el marco de estas teorías. La primera parte de la investigación, analiza las diferentes corrientes educativas en las que se enmarca este estudio, haciendo énfasis en aquellas en las que el documental interactivo tiene mayor aplicación. A continuación, se describe el medio interactivo y el ámbito de la no ficción, las dos ramas conceptuales en las que se enmarca el formato documental interactivo. Analizamos así, la sociedad del conocimiento, el entorno web y las interfaces interactivas, para luego pasar a analizar los géneros de la no ficción y sus diferencias con los géneros de la no ficción interactiva. D thesis is to explore the potential of interactive documentary as a pedagogical tool, covering both the use of interactive documentaries as a didactic tool and the development of interactive documentaries by students in the classroom. The research analyzes the growth of the interactive documentary as a novel format, as well as the changes that it presents before the traditional documentary in terms of production, distribution and exhibition logic. He also explores educational trends such as Constructivism, Connectivism and Media Literacy, and argues about the implementation of interactive documentary in the classroom within the framework of these theories. The first part of the research analyzes the different educational currents in which the research is developed, with emphasis on those in which the interactive documentary has more application. Next, we describe the interactive medium and the field of non-fiction, the two conceptual branches in which the interactive documentary format is framed. We analyze the knowledge society, the web environment and the interactive interfaces, and then proceed to analyze the genres of non-fiction and their differences with the genres of interactive non-fiction.
