Los manuales románticos de literatura latina en lengua española (1833-1868)

Abstract

This paper explains which are the main historiographical features that define the new consideration of Latin literature during romanticism and its transference to handbooks written in Spanish language. Some authors will be analysed: Alfredo Adolfo Camús, Ángel María Terradillos, Félix Pérez Martín, José Luis Pons y Gallarza and Salvador Costanzo. Finally, we shall study the handbook written by Andrés Bello in South America.
