Abstract
ABSTRACT. The nature and structure of the construct psychological flow is still unclear so its assessment can be difficult unless the appropriate instruments are applied. Therefore, the aim of this study focuses on analyzing and comparing two flow measuring instruments and part of the psychological components that constitute them. This was assessed with the Flow State Scale (FSS) (García-Calvo, Jimenez, Santos-Rosa, Queen and Cervello, 2008) and Subscales Flow (SF) (Rodríguez, Schaufe-li, Salanova & Figures, 2008 ) to 294 participants, of whom 116 were men and 178 women, aged between 17 and 76, with an average of 39. Of the total sample 59.9% of subjects are active workers indifferent health facilities and 30.1% arestudents. After appropriate statistical analysis we found that once properly adapted, both questionnaires are capable of measuring psychological flow. The correlation analysis of the two scales is significantly high.
