Abstract
This book brings together a series of essays written by students of the subject "Art, design and objectuality" of the Master in History of Art and Visual Culture during the 2022/2023 academic year. They are the result of an exercise in which they worked from the choice of an object in the Reina Sofia Museum in order to think about it with the company of readings, concepts and shared debates that took place in the classroom. So, brought together, they pose a conversation between elevators, headphones, access cards, banners of demonstrations that have become pieces of art and lockers in which visitors leave their belongings. Each text proposes a way of telling what is in the museum beyond what is conventionally conceptualized as an exhibition, bringing everything material (including works of art) to a more everyday dimension; making unknown gleams appear.
