Abstract
Cloud Computing is a model for delivering IT services over the Internet. This phenomenon allows access to computing resources such as servers, storage and software through a global network of remote servers managed by cloud service providers. With this approach, the resources provided have greater scalability, based on changing needs and without re lying on costly physical infrastructures; and remote access to those resources, allowing anyone with direct connection with the cloud to work and collaborate efficiently. Optimizing Cloud Computing infrastructures based on virtual machines is an approach that seeks to maximize the efficiency and performance of resources in cloud environments. This involves making intelligent decisions about resource allocation, workload management and capacity planning to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency and responsiveness to changing application needs. The objective of this paper is to delve deeper into this problem, and explore how opti mization techniques can be effectively applied in hypothetical production environments, considering factors such as scalability and resource efficiency, in order to achieve the best solution.
