Abstract
La presente tesis doctoral se propone desentrañar las representaciones de Turquía en la literatura de viajes española del siglo xx. A través de un enfoque interdisciplinario que incorpora las teorías del orientalismo de Edward Said, la identidad cultural de Stuart Hall y las dinámicas de poder/saber de Michel Foucault, se realiza un análisis crítico y textual de una selección de obras representativas de diferentes periodos históricos. La metodología utilizada es de naturaleza cualitativa, centrada en el análisis crítico de los textos seleccionados, agrupados en tres periodos: 1898-1933, 1941-1974 y 1974-1999. Cada periodo se examina en relación con los contextos históricos de España y Turquía, destacando cómo los cambios políticos, sociales y culturales en ambos países han influido en las narrativas de los viajeros...
This doctoral thesis aims to explore the representations of Turkey in 20th-century Spanish travel literature. Through an interdisciplinary approach incorporating Edward Said's theories of Orientalism, Stuart Hall's concept of cultural identity, and Michel Foucault's power/knowledge dynamics, the thesis conducts a critical and textual analysis of selected works from various historical periods.The methodology is qualitative, focusing on the critical analysis of selected texts, whicha re grouped into three periods: 1898-1933, 1941-1974, and 1974-1999.
