Abstract
El microcuento es un género literario que posee una serie de características, como su brevedad, que lo convierten en un recurso didáctico con gran potencial para abordar un problema que preocupa a los docentes de educación secundaria: fomentar la lectura entre los adolescentes.
En este trabajo se analizará dicho género, para explicar cuáles son los elementos que lo convierten en un valioso recurso didáctico, y se propondrá una secuencia didáctica primero de la ESO con el fin de estimular el hábito lector entre los estudiantes a partir de microrrelatos.
The micro story is a literary genre that has a number of characteristics, such as brevity, which make it an educational resource with great potential to address a problem that concerns teachers in secondary education: to promote reading among adolescents. This paper will analyse this genre to explain what elements make it a valuable educational resource, and to propose a learning sequence for ESO´s first year, in order to encourage a reading habit from micro stories among students.
