Abstract
Esta investigación titulada La narrativa artística como vehículo de creación de identidad y de transformación personal: mujeres artistas, Miradas Insólitas y Living Museum tiene como objetivo principal reconocer el potencial de la identidad artística como expresión y visibilización personal y social que ofrece caminos hacia la mejora de la salud mental en especial de las mujeres. Se ha llevado a cabo bajo un enfoque de corte cualitativo y feminista que acoge especialmente la realidad de las mujeres artistas y la diversidad en su conjunto. Dentro de este marco, y dado el gran crecimiento de la enfermedad mental y dolencia psíquica, la reducción de la calidad de vida asociada a esta realidad y la condición de discapacidad, así como de la publicación de recientes informes que evidencian los beneficios de las artes y la cultura en la mejora de la salud física y mental, los principales objetivos específicos son: documentar el estado de la cuestión relativa a la creación artística y los procesos psicopatológicos, con especial atención en el desarrollo de una identidad personal en el caso de mujeres artistas; documentar la voz y trayectoria artística de mujeres creadoras vinculadas con la enfermedad mental, la marginalidad o la condición de discapacidad, con especial atención en su estigma de exclusión y reconocimiento personal y social a través del arte, fomentando enfoques de investigación que dan valor a la narrativa artística como vía de conocimiento; y profundizar en la naturaleza de los talleres abiertos de arte partiendo del ejemplo de Living Museum...
This research entitled Artistic Narrative as a Vehicle for Identity Creation and Personal Transformation: Women Artists, Miradas Insólitas, and Living Museum aims to recognise the potential of artistic identity as an expression and personal and social visibility that offers paths towards the improvement of mental health, especially for women. This qualitative research has been conducted under a feminist approach that especially embraces the reality of women artists and diversity as a whole.Within this framework, and given the significant growth of mental illness and psychological distress, the reduction in the quality of life associated with this reality, and the condition of disability, as well as the publication of recent reports demonstrating the benefits of arts and culture in improving physical and mental health, the specific objectives are: to document the state of the art regarding artistic creation and psychopathological processes, with particular attention to the development of a personal identity in the case of women artists; to document the voice and artistic trajectory of women artists and creators linked to mental illness, marginality or disability, with special attention to their stigma of exclusion and personal and social recognition through art; and to delve into the nature of the Open Studio based on the example of Living Museum...
