Abstract
The scrapbook compiled by Dr. Elisa Soriano Fisher is a singular testimony of her professional career and her social and scientific environment during the first half of the 20th century. Preserving these documents for the long term is difficult because they are composed of a variety of different materials, the materials are of low‐quality manufacture and the structure is complex. This article describes the studies and nterventions carried out by the Conservation Department of the Biblioteca Histórica de la Universidad Complutense to stabilize, preserve and promote the use of the document
