Abstract
La percepción de las vacunas como instrumentos sanitarios inseguros se acentúa particularmente en el continente europeo, donde una fracción de la población las considera no solo irrelevantes, sino también no seguras ni eficaces (Larson et al., 2016). A este panorama se suma la crisis de salud pública derivada de la COVID-19 y el intenso debate en torno a la vacunación en plataformas de redes sociales, lo que genera una proliferación de mensajes a favor y en contra de las vacunas, incluyendo la participación de influencers. Investigaciones previas han evidenciado que este debate contribuye a la propagación de desinformación (Cuesta et al., 2021), por lo que analizar la actividad de estos influencers y su audiencia resulta crucial para comprender el discurso en las redes sociales en el ámbito de la salud pública y poder contrarrestar los temores y mitos con estrategias efectivas para combatir la desinformación...
The perception of vaccines as unsafe health tools is particularly accentuated in the European region, where a fraction of the population considers them not only irrelevant but also unsafe and ineffective (Larson et al., 2016).
