Documentos epigráficos para el estudio de la Casa de la Diana Arcaizante y de la ínsula VII, 6, Pompeya

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende sacar a la luz la epigrafía (en su mayoría, perdida) de la ínsula VII, 6 de Pompeya, la llamada “cenicienta”, debido a la cantidad de desastres de los que ha sido víctima a lo largo de los siglos. El trabajo se ha organizado en tres partes: 1- Se ha procedido a la lectura de numerosos diarios de excavación de los siglos XVIII, XIX y XX; concretamente, se ha prestado especial atención a las obras de Giuseppe Fiorelli Pompeianarum Antiquitatum Historia (1860) y Descrizione di Pompei (1875), y al diario Notizie di Scavi de Giuseppe Spano (1910). Por supuesto, se han tratado también los informes de las campañas de excavación actuales en dicha ínsula. 2- Se ha recopilado todo el material hallado en dichos diarios e informes, se ha buscado su correspondencia en el Corpus de Inscripciones Latinas y, por último, los resultados se han presentado en una tabla ordenados por orden cronológico. 3- Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio epigráfico de las inscripciones más llamativas y se ha propuesto una nueva manera de editar grafitos y dipintos por medio de reconstrucciones virtuales.This work aims to bring to light the epigraphy (mostly lost) of the insula VII, 6 of Pompeii, the so-called "Cinderella", due to the number of disasters that have been the victim over the centuries. The work has been organized into three parts: 1- I have read numerous excavation journals of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries; specifically, I paid special attention to the works of Giuseppe Fiorelli Pompeianarum Antiquitatum Historia (1860) and Descrizione di Pompei (1875), and to the newspaper Notizie di Scavi by Giuseppe Spano (1910). Of course, the reports of the current excavation campaigns in that island have also been discussed. 2- All the material found in these diaries and reports has been compiled, correspondence has been sought in the Corpus of Latin Inscriptions and, finally, the results have been presented in a table arranged in chronological order. 3- An epigraphic study of the most striking inscriptions has been carried out and a new way of editing graffiti and diphthongs has been proposed by means of virtual reconstructions.
