Abstract
En este Trabajo Final de Máster se expone la realización de una investigación de carácter empírico dentro del campo de estudio del arteterapia. Por ello, podrán encontrarse desde el planteamiento del problema y revisión de la literatura, hasta la planificación metodológica para la recogida de datos, y su posterior análisis. El tema de estudio tiene por finalidad el conocer la interrelación entre las personas con trastornos de la conducta alimentaria y sus mecanismos de defensa del yo, así como la repercusión que el arteterapia tiene sobre ellos.
Para ello, se ha escogido el estudio de caso instrumental como método de aproximación, conocimiento y comprensión de la realidad de una persona diagnosticada de bulimia nerviosa que ha asistido a 25 sesiones de arteterapia, en las que su proceso creador ha sido el protagonista.
This Master thesis covers the implementation of a simple empirical research within the scope of an art therapy study. In order to assess the problem statement, along in this paper it is exposed the literature review, the methodology, including the data collection technique, and its subsequent analysis. The aim of the study is to explore the relation between people with eating disorders and their ego defence mechanisms, and finally, how art therapy generates an impact on them. So, an instrumental case study was selected as the most appropriate methodology to approach, knowledge and understanding of a Bulimia Nervosa diagnosed patient’s reality, who has attended 25 sessions of art therapy. In this context the main agent is her creative process.
