Abstract
Las técnicas de estudio son recursos educativos para desarrollar el potencial de aprendizaje, partiendo de un enfoque constructivista nutrido de clásicos como Piaget, Vigotsky y Ausubel. Además, están al servicio de las estrategias de aprendizaje, conocimiento procedimental para actuar de manera organizada, intencional y ajustada a la consecución de objetivos. Estas últimas no se automatizan, pues requieren de nociones metacognitivas para su éxito, es decir, de conocimiento y control sobre cómo procesar la información según los recursos, habilidades y experiencias del sujeto. Por su parte, las investigaciones relacionan un mayor rendimiento académico con las intervenciones centradas en esta temática. A su vez, el profesorado toma un papel clave en ello, ya que actúa como modelo de conductas metacognitivas en sus explicaciones docentes. La propuesta educativa consiste en un taller dirigido al tercer ciclo de Primaria. Se compone de actividades curriculares que promueven estrategias de aprendizaje y técnicas de estudio, empleando una metodología variada y apostando por una evaluación formativa y autorreflexiva. Como conclusión, aprender a aprender es una inversión para adaptar a los escolares a una sociedad repleta de información y conocimiento cambiante que exige personas autónomas para gestionar su búsqueda, selección, análisis e integración.
Study techniques are educational resources aimed at developing learning potential, based on a constructivist approach enriched by the insights of classics such as Piaget, Vygotsky, and Ausubel. Furthermore, these techniques serve learning strategies, procedural knowledge enabling organized, intentional, and goal-oriented actions. The latter are not automated as they require metacognitive notions for success, meaning knowledge and control over how to process information based on the individual's resources, skills, and experiences. Research correlates higher academic performance with interventions focused on this theme. Concurrently, educators play a key role as they serve as models for metacognitive behaviors in their teaching explanations. This educational project involves workshops for the upper levels of Elementary Education. These are curricular activities that promote learning strategies and study techniques by using a diverse methodology and advocating for formative and self-reflective assessment. In conclusion, learning how to learn is an investment in adapting students to a society where information and knowledge are constantly changing, demanding autonomous individuals capable of managing the search, selection, analysis, and integration of information.
